Gravity separator is among key equipment for seed sorting and grading processing. It is used to sort lighter seeds from heavy seeds based on the principle of seed suspension and friction characteristics. The main function is to separate the more uniform seeds that have been cleaned by air-selection type cleaner, eyelet drum cleaners and other machines according to density, so as to remove poorly developed, not fully mature, insect damaged, moldy and germinated seeds. It can also separate impurities that are similar in size to seeds but have a certain difference in weight, such as side-by-side stones and others. Gravity separator is also ideal equipment for cleaning and grading melon seeds and tea leaves, etc.
Product Structure
5XZ series gravity separator is composed by: base, fan, box, vibrating device, working table, vertical and horizontal angle adjustment mechanism, air volume and frequency adjustment device, feeding and discharging hopper and dust cover, etc.
Product Feature
1. Blowing system is composed of individual fans, easy to maintain and repair. And the air volume of each fan can be adjusted step-less independently;
2. A layer of cellular vertical air distributors mounted between platform and box body to make the air direction not change and air lifting evenly;
3. Square woven mesh made of steel wire without bottom fabric ensure air passing through no forming dead zones;
4. Working platform is supported by two gas springs, which can be opened and closed easily and quickly, making it convenient to inspect the vibration device and other components in the air chamber;
5. Its own drive shaft as a counterweight, by moving with the work surface to offset the inertia force generated by the reciprocating motion of the work surface. Therefore, only need to consider its own weight needs when install the machine;
6. Due to good self-balancing performance, machine can run at a higher eccentric speed, thereby greatly increase ts production capacity.
